ブライダルフォトグラファーの相良真は、病で父を亡くした。しかし、葬儀を経ても父への感情をうまく整理できない。父の葬儀から2年後、友人から「友人の父の葬儀の写真撮影」を頼まれる。「新たな葬儀」に向き合おうとする中、相良は父のオンライン葬儀会場を再訪する。そこで、過去の父を知る人からのメッセージを目にし、父の過去の一面を知る。再び父を悼むために、彼はバーチャル会場にある父の遺影を見つめ、その人生と遺したものに思いを馳せる。
Bridal photographer Makoto Aira lost his father to illness. However, even after the funeral, he struggled to come to terms with his emotions. Two years later, he is given the opportunity to photograph the funeral of his friend’s father. As he prepares to face this “new funeral,” he revisits his father’s online funeral venue. There, he comes across messages from people who knew his father in the past and discovers a side of him he had never seen before. To mourn once more, he gazes at his father’s portrait in the virtual space, reflecting on his life and legacy.
